Mossberg 500/590 Light Mount

The most robust way to mount a modern weapon light to your Mossberg 500/590.  There are two parts that make up the mount: A clamp and a bracket.

THE CLAMP

• Machined 6061-T6.
• Mil-Spec hard anodized.
• Reversible, so you can have the light on the left or right side of the shotgun.
• Hinged design, making installation very simple.  If you can’t figure it out, find an adult.  (or go to our instructions page)
• Optional sling socket installs on the opposite side of the light.

THE BRACKET

• Machined 6061-T6 aluminum.
• Mil-Spec hard anodized.
• Threads have stainless helical inserts installed.  This allows for stronger fastening and resistance to wear.

There are currently 4 options for brackets:

Scout Short and Scout Long – These will work with the traditional 2 screw mounting design – Surefire, Streamlight, etc.

Scout Pro Short and Scout Pro Long – These will work with Surefire’s newer “Pro” mounting system.
